Campers Section
A Typical Day
Every day at Winnebago is packed with fun, learning and a variety of activities. Here is an example of a daily schedule:
| 7:30 am | Wake up, wash and dress |
| 8:00 am | Breakfast |
| 8:30 - 9:10 am | Cabin cleanup |
| 9:20 -10:20 am | 1st Period: Athletics - Brown and Green competition. Play a game against the other half of your age group. You will play a different game such as soccer, softball, basketball, dodge ball, kickball, team handball, flag football, and street hockey every day. |
| 10:25-11:25 am | 2nd Period: Swimming Work with a swim counselor and a small group of boys who swim like you to improve your swimming. |
| 11:30-12:30 am | 3rd Period: Selected Activity #1 Choose an activity to do for 10 days. These activities include: Archery, Arts & Crafts, Boat & Canoeing/Kayaking, Campcraft, Nature, Photography, Radio, Riflery, Sailing, Stagecraft, Tennis, Theater, Video, WAG (newspaper), Windsurfing |
| 12:25 pm | First call for lunch - Activities end, wash up for lunch. |
| 1:15 pm | Rest Hour: Quiet time in the bunk for letter writing or taking showers. |
| 2:30-3:30 pm | 4th Period: Athletic Instruction Learn new skills and practice and improve your game in sports such as Lacrosse, Baseball, Tennis, Basketball, and Soccer. |
| 3:35-4:35 pm | Free swim: Come down to the lake to cool off and have fun diving off the high dive, sliding down the water slide or making up and playing other games with your friends. |
| 4:40 - 5:40 pm | 5th Period: Selected Activity #2 |
| 5:40 pm | First call for Dinner: Activities end and wash up for dinner |
| 6:00 pm | Dinner |
| 6:30 pm | Free time and mixed-age group games. Play your favorite sport, take a boat out fishing, play tetherball with your friends or build dams in the stream. |
| 7:45 pm | Evening Assembly or Campfire: We end every day with an all-camp activity. Whether it be Halloween, Mardi Gras, a play, talent show, or our weekly camp fire, it is fun to be amongst the entire camp community. |
| 9:00 pm | Ready for bed |
