Athletics is a central part of camp. On the fourth day of camp, Campers discover whether they are on either the Brown or the Green team. Campers compete each day against the other half of their age group in a rotating series of sports including softball, soccer, basketball, street hockey, newcomb or volleyball and dodgeball. Boys also participate in an hour of high level athletic instruction each day. Whether it be tennis, baseball, lacrosse, volleyball, soccer or basketball, campers are taught at, and improve accordingly, to their level. Whether during an intense game or practice, campers learn and understand the important values associated with playing on a team. We encourage the spirit of competition but insist on a high degree of sportsmanship and fair play as a core value.
